    Valve Bag Filling Machines

Gravity, Pneumatic & Screw Feed Systems for Dust-Free & Precise Packaging

Orchid’s Valve Bag Filling Machines are engineered to deliver fast, accurate, and dust-free filling of powders and granules into valve-type bags. With three specialised models — Gravity Valve Bag Fillers, Pneumatic (Air) Valve Bag Fillers, and Screw (Auger) Valve Bag Fillers — Orchid provides the right solution for every material type, from free-flowing granules to fine or sticky powders.

How Our Valve Bag Filling Machines Work

Gravity Valve Bag Filler (Free-Flowing Powders & Granules)

    • Working Principle: Material flows freely from a hopper into the valve bag using gravity. Integrated load cells measure the weight, and filling stops automatically at the target.
    • Best For: Salt, sugar, fertilizer granules, seeds, grains, pellets.
    • Advantages: Simple design, high filling speed, very low maintenance.

Pneumatic Valve Bag Filler (Air/Fluidized Feed for Fine Powders)

    • Working Principle: Compressed air fluidizes the product and pushes it into the valve bag. Air escapes through filters, ensuring dust-free packaging.
    • Best For: Flour, starch, fly ash, cement, chemicals, lightweight powders.
    • Advantages: Fast filling for powders, clean operation, improved throughput.

Screw (Auger) Valve Bag Filler (For Sticky & Difficult Powders)

    • Working Principle: A rotating auger screw continuously pushes product into the bag under PLC-controlled speed. Ideal for powders with poor flowability.
    • Best For: Pigments, additives, polymer powders, specialty chemicals.
    • Advantages: High accuracy, reliable filling of sticky or non-free-flowing powders.

❓ Final FAQ – Valve Bag Filling Machines

    • 1. What is a valve bag filling machine?

👉 A valve bag filler is a packaging system designed to fill 10–50 kg valve bags with powders or granules using gravity, pneumatic, or screw feeding.

    • 2. What is the difference between gravity, pneumatic, and screw valve bag fillers?

👉 Gravity fillers are best for free-flowing powders, pneumatic fillers for fine powders, and screw fillers for sticky or non-free-flowing powders.

    • 3. Can one valve bag filler handle multiple products?

Yes. With interchangeable spouts and adjustable feeding, one machine can handle different powders and granules.

    • 4. How accurate are Orchid valve bag fillers?

👉 Accuracy ranges from ±0.2–0.5%, depending on the feeding system and product. Screw fillers offer the highest precision.

    • 5. Are they suitable for food and pharma applications?

Yes. With stainless steel construction and hygienic dust-free design, they are ideal for food, nutraceutical, and pharma industries.

    • 6. Can these machines be upgraded to automation?

Absolutely. They can be integrated with automatic bag placers, conveyors, palletizers, and wrapping systems.

    • 7. What about maintenance requirements?

👉 Maintenance is minimal. Gravity fillers have the least moving parts, while pneumatic and screw systems require routine checks of air supply and auger components.

    • 8. Note

👉 Choose Orchid’s Valve Bag Filling Machines — available in gravity, pneumatic, and screw types — for reliable, dust-free, and accurate packaging.
